It has been awhile!

Two months to be exact. I was so excited to get my blog up and rolling, but then I got cold feet--who wants to read about me and my boring life! Well, I was reminded that this isn't about people reading--it is a way to document the life that Robert and I live! So without further adieu, I am going to post some pics of my man and me traveling around the world (not really the world, but it is more dramatic if I say that)!

Here we are celebrating our sixth anniversary! I should mention that our anniversary was back in February. Hey--I am new at this blogging thing, so there will be some catch-up time to be had!!!It is hard to believe that we have been married six years. Robert surprised me with a trip to Fredricksburg, Texas. It was a wonderful time and extremely relaxing! Thanks babe for knowing exactly what I needed!! Your the bomb.com!!!

Well....I was going to post some pics, but I need to figure out how to post multiple pics first. Hopefully, this will encourage me to come back sooner!

Why the Yellow Brick Road

Hi, my name is Erin. I have started blogging to document our life together. The "our" consists of my husband, HB (not his real name), but that is another story for another time, our dog Major, and me.

Why the Yellow Brick Road? Well...wouldn't it be easy if life just consisted of following a yellow brick road? Boring-maybe, predictable-yes. As you will learn about me, I like predictablity. It is just how God made me. I am a professed A-type personality. I have come to accept this, but God is not finished with me yet. Which leads me back to the yellow brick road. God has not called us to an easy life, but sometimes I just wish that it could be easy. I would like to have things laid out, no guess work. Well, I don't have a yellow brick road, but God is walking with me to create my own path. There is a lot of prayer, guess work, failures, success, funnies, love, pain---but truth be told, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I pray this blog gives you insight into the road that God is walking us down--whatever color it may be!
